We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil.

With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth.

Pastor Gary Derbyshire will be leading an adult class.  Please let us know if you need childcare for children 4 and under if you are attending the adult class.

Welcome to Apollo!

Apollo Baptist Church is a caring community of Christ-followers where the Bible is preached boldly, the gospel is communicated clearly, and every person is challenge to take their next step toward God. We believe in developing a culture of discipleship that leads to worship and compels us to be on mission.

Weekly Prayer Meeting

Please join us as we pray for our church, our family and beyond.

We are meeting in person on Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 6:30 PM in room 109 of the Worship Center (Bldg. A)

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Current Preaching Series

There are a lot of opinions about what true strength looks like in this world. Many people think being strong means you’re tall and ripped. Many people think being strong means you always get your way. Many people think being strong means you have a lot of confidence. Others think it means you are successful and have lots of money. Our world believes strength comes from ourselves, but the Bible tells us it comes from elsewhere. Really, true strength comes from loving and obeying God. Let us draw near to God this season as we study the life of Solomon and learn what it means to truly be strong!
